Workshops to help parents, educators, and caregivers learn non-punitive, conscious discipline approaches so they can feel calmer and more confident caring for children

About Katherine

I am a coach, parenting researcher, and licensed clinical social worker who has worked with families for over two decades.

I am currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Maryland School of Social Work, where I research mindful parenting, self-compassion, and parenting stress with a focus on early childhood.

I help parents move from hopeless and overwhelmed to calm and confident so they can be present for their children and enjoy their own lives too.

Who are the workshops for?

Katherine's workshops are appropriate for parents of young children (roughly ages 2 to 10) as well as early childhood educators, preschool directors, and other early childhood professionals.

Some preschools choose to invite parents to all or part of a professional development workshop so that all the adults are on the same page.
